Privacy

What this site does with what you send it, pending a written policy.

No Policy Has Been Written Yet

What follows is a factual description of how this website handles a submission. It is not a privacy policy, and it is not legal advice. Before launch this page has to be replaced with a policy the client has had reviewed.

What the Forms Collect

The three forms on this site — a request for services, a general enquiry, and a job application — collect what you type into them. That is your name, your company, an email address, a phone number, a project location, and whatever you write in the message field. The job application also takes your resume: the file itself if you attach one, a link to it if you would rather. An attached resume is stored in private storage, separate from the images this site serves publicly, and is readable only by signed-in SierraPoint staff.

Where It Goes

A submission is written to this site’s own database, where it is readable by the staff who hold a login to the content admin. Notification email to info@sierrapointindustries.com is not switched on yet, so today a submission is read in the admin rather than in an inbox. It is not sold, and it is not passed to an advertising network.

Cookies and Tracking

The public pages set no cookies, run no analytics, and load no third-party scripts. The typeface is served from this site rather than from a font host. The content admin at /admin sets a session cookie, which only affects staff who log in.

Retention, and Your Rights Over It

How long a submission is kept, and how to ask for a copy of it or for its deletion, are exactly the questions a real policy has to answer and this page cannot. In the meantime, write to info@sierrapointindustries.com and ask.
